The English-language lexical unit ‘online’ in the modern Russian language: classification groups

The article deals with the classification groups of the English-language borrowings, presented by the complicated words and containing the key component “online”. There are analysed the English-language lexical unit ‘online’ and its word combinations by the thematic pattern, the degree of the assimilation in the accepting language and the structural and educational aspect. The growth of the number of the data of the borrowed lexical units indicates the change of the way of living of people in the global scale.
