Abnormalities of the pancreaticoduodenal area in patients with the connective tissue dysplasia: clinical features and treatment

The article is devoted to the data of the clinical observation of patients with abnormalities of the pancreas. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGDS) was carried out in 150 patients with the indifferent connective tissue dysplasia (CTD), 3 of them had aberrant pancreas. Availability of the aberrant pancreas should be excluded in case of polyp findings at the EGDS. Endoscopic ultrasonography should be additionally used in case of polyp. Taking into account the risk of malignancy, all patients with aberrant pancreas and CTD need surgical treatment.
