Antiquity in anatomical terminology of the Latin language

This article is devoted to the origin of anatomical terminology, its place in the system of medicine and analysis of anatomical terms that have retained their significance since antiquity. Attention is also drawn to the periods of origin of medical anatomical terms from ancient (archaic) to classical Latin and the formation of bilingual Greek-Latin terminology which is called ancient. The article also considers the origin meaning of anatomical concepts as a reflection of the life of people of that area, their surrounding world, as well as the influence of already existing terms of other sciences. Here we are also talking about syntactic models of medical terms and the appropriateness of their use.
