Antireligious rhetoric in M. M. Zoshchenko's literary works

This article considers some forms of antireligious rhetoric in M.M.Zoshchenko's literary works. From the first years after the end of the Civil War the Soviet government struggled for power with Orthodox Church. The article also proves that Zoshchenko’s works can’t be treated as the propaganda of atheism. The writer creates a fair illustration of the process, showing that faith in its profound meaning does not exist.
