The features of the formation of antibodies to the xenobiotic benzo[a]pyrene and endobiotics (steroid hormones), depending on the polymorphisms of GSTM1 gene were investigated in men with lung cancer. It has been found that the risk of lung cancer significantly higher in GSTM1 positive men with high levels of IgA- and IgG-antibodies to benzo[a]pyrene and estradiol and in GSTM1 men with low level of IgG-antibodies to progesterone. Thus, we have confirmed the previously stated assumption about the relationship of antibody to low-weight xeno- and endobiotics with the activity of enzymes of their metabolism.
