The article considers anthropological positions and art criticism and culturological value of the Mordovian clothes of two subethnoses: Erzyans and Moksha. It analyses plasticity in dancing as a logical structure of a visual nonverbal text. The influence of a historical cut of a costume in esthetic perception of a dancing movement is defined. The interrelation of creation of dancing frontal zones and geometry of the plan of a costume is proved; figurative factures in creation of a vertical basis of a plastic relief as well as a variety of ways in a manner of a dancing gait are given.
