The article is devoted to a number of anthropological factors that influence public consciousness formation: identification images, values of consumption and consumer adaptable strategies. The person is described as a consumer and basic social subject that initiates transformations in the Russian society and public consciousness. The problem of individual and public consumer-oriented consciousness is considered in the context of modern global cultural and economic dynamics.
