Update of excursion activities as a new challenge for professional training of future tourism specialists

Innovative tendencies of the development of tourism excursion activities in the context of the coming changes in the professional training of tourism specialists are discussed. The existing trends of modernizing tourism excursion activities including the changed format of conducting the excursion, projecting and implementing the excursion service, using gadgets and origin of new kinds of tourism and excursions are discussed. Irrevocable modifications in the tourism industry make the essential corrections to the process of training future tourism specialists, who must be ready to work in the digital transformations and visualization of thinking of the tourism services consumers urgent. For that purpose it is proposed to introduce additional topics to the teaching/learning process of training future tourism specialists.
