The archetype of the «prodigal son» in nineteenth-century Russian literature

Within the framework of the article, the author makes the assumption that Russian literature of the XIX century was subjected to the influence of the archetype of the "prodigal son" and, in its essence, did not know the true atheist writers. Evidence from the works of AA Pushkin, IS Turgenev, NV Gogol, IA Goncharov, and others are presented in the work.
