The article discusses the creation of multifunctional residential complexes for people of the older age group. The article attempts to form a number of requirements for the creation of multifunctional residential complexes in the city for the integration of the older age group into it. The general patterns of their architectural planning are analyzed, the main advantages that can be used in modern design are identified.
