Arctic zone of the Russian Federation: environmental features in legal regulation

The article is devoted to the consideration of environmental features of legal regulation in the Arctic zone on the territory of the Russian Federation. Separate problems of environmental protection of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation are considered. A specific feature of ensuring a favorable state of the environment is associated with an increase in anthropogenic pressure on the region. Ambiguous moments in the general trend of development of the state environmental policy in the Arctic with an emphasis on strategic and programmatic documents are noted.
