Aspect of social and cultural capital of personality within the framework of social and cultural activity

The author of the article defines sociocultural capital as an intangible resource that forms the integral essence of society, society and culture, reveals the significance of the social and cultural capital of a person in modern society as a cultural good. The article substantiates the origin of the concept of “social and cultural capital”, gives its main characteristics: accumulation, exchange for other resources, liquidity, conversion, self-growth. The author of the article substantiates the connection and differences between the social and cultural capital of an individual and other forms of capital. Personality involvement and active interaction with social and cultural reality, the author justifies collective creativity in various forms of social and cultural activity as a factor in generating the sociocultural capital of an individual. The phenomenon of social interaction, characterizing the essence of social and cultural activity, aimed at preserving, disseminating and creating cultural values creates all the conditions for the generation of social and cultural capital. At the same time the efforts and personal productivity of a person determine the sociocultural environment, and the environment determines the possibilities of personality development. The article identifies the distinction of social and cultural capital, defines the aspect of social and cultural activity in its generation. The author outlines the conditions that create the field of social and cultural activity for the development of the social and cultural capital of an individual on the basis of voluntary choice, social productivity and cultural character.
