Aspects of meta text study in linguistics

There is given a brief review of meta text theories in linguistics. Its status is defined in the context of modern anthropocentric studies. Meta text brings content, formal and emotion commentaries into the text. They demonstrate a speech subject reflection about his/her own speech activity and the attitude to the addressee.
