The recent ministerial decree on integrating English into higher education has raised important questions about its implementation in various disciplines, including Political Science. This study investigates the extent to which English is currently used in teaching Political Science at Setif University, examining faculty perspectives, challenges, and institutional support. Through a structured questionnaire distributed to Political Science instructors, the research aims to assess their preparedness, the obstacles they face, and their attitudes toward the transition. The findings will provide insights into the feasibility of adopting English as a medium of instruction and offer recommendations for enhancing language support and policy implementation.
