Association between NOS3 and ITGB3 polymorphisms and the risk of coronary artery disease

The aim of the study was to evaluate the association of the polymorphism of T-786C of NOS3 gene and the polymorphism of T1565C of ITGB3 gene with the risk of development and progression of coronary artery disease in the population of the West Siberian region. The study included 242 patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), residing in the territory of the West Siberian region. The control group consisted of 162 residents of Tomsk without cardiovascular and chronic diseases.
