Author's rethinking of "mortal songs" in Russian literature of the XIX century

In the article, we consider one of the less developed genre varieties of the epic folk songs of the Caucasian highlanders - "death songs". They have a lyrical-epic content and have a solemnly sad tune. "Death songs" received the author's arrangement and artistically interpreted with the preservation of the semantic component in the works of Russian poets and writers of the 19th century: A.A. Bestuzhevv-Marlinsky, L.N. Tolstoy, A.A. Fet.
