Button accordion in Russian chamber music at the end of the XXth and the beginning of the XXIst centuries

The article reveals the development of a new direction in button accordion chamber ensemble music in Russia in the last quarter of the 20th century. The author examines performing potential of button accordion accompanied by different instruments: wood wind instruments, wood keyed, stringed and percussion instruments. He analyses the creative work of composers and performers developing the trend.
