The value of the bactericidal activity of saliva and blood serum of cattle and sheep against different types of test-microbe was established. When using B. subtilis and M. lysodeikticus crops the bactericidal activity of saliva of ruminants higher, than of serum; when using E.coli crop quite the contrary lower. In case of a parallel assessments of bactericidal and lysozyme activities for the unification of methods M. lysodeikticus crop is desirable to use as a grampositive germ.
