Family and work balance: on the issue of the involvement of Russian organizations in the implementation of family policy objectives of the state

The national development goals of the Russian Federation determine the vector of activity of all subjects of the country’s social policy, which include organizations and business structures. Support for family, parenthood, and childhood are becoming strategically important both for the sustainable development of the country and for organizations. The aim of the study is to substantiate the need for Russian organizations to form and implement corporate family policy as a tool to establish a balance between professional and family responsibilities of employees. As a result of the analysis of the corporate social policy of large Russian organizations, a list of the most relevant measures of the corporate family policy of organizations has been formed, structured in accordance with the problems and needs of family workers, depending on the main life cycles of families with children. Conclusion dwells upon the fact that it is necessary to develop and implement a comprehensive corporate family policy of organizations based on identifying and taking into account the real needs of employees with family responsibilities, the current family and demographic specifics of the territory of presence and the country as a whole, the capabilities and profile of the organization itself.
