Fable in Liudmila Petrushevskaya's fantasies

The article deals with characteristic features of the fable and the parable in Liudmila Petrushevskaya’s fantasies. It is shown that the ambiguity and travesty of the end-piece of the writer’s fantasies, which reminds of the fable’s epimyth, can be explained by the inner contrariety of the fable’s maxims.
