The work examines the process of physical education, which is an integral part of human education. In modern conditions of life, higher requirements are imposed on the biological and social capabilities of a person. The authors pays special attention to the importance of running in the formation of a healthy lifestyle in general, as well as in training such human qualities as strength and endurance in particular. Various aspects of the impact of running on the human body are considered. Running has a great impact on only the general condition of the body. In the article, the authors draws attention to how running has a positive effect on the cardiovascular, digestive, and musculoskeletal systems. The positive effect of running on the state of the nervous system and the psychological state of the body is considered separately. The place of running in the safe life of a person has been determined.
