Bell canto and the formation of vocal pedagogy in Germany by the 19th century

Article is devoted to consideration of traditions of vocal education in Germany in 19 an eyelid that allows to estimate a current state of vocal education critically. Use and reconsideration of ideas of the German vocal pedagogics from positions of new education requirements in combination with modern theoretical and methodical achievements in the field of vocational training of vocalists in Bell canto style will allow to find progressive ways of development of system of professional vocal education at the present stage. The authors come to a conclusion that the German national vocal school was created and accurately was defined in the middle of XIX of an eyelid. Its formation is connected with a name of the composer innovator R. Wagner. Sources of the German school of singing originate in national and church singing, and also in works of composers predecessors of R. Wagner - G. Handel, W. Mozart, K. Weber, L. Beethoven, I.S. Bach. Founder “of a primary school tone” in German pedagogy is F. Schmitt. His disciple Yu. Gay educated a whole galaxy of outstanding German singers interpreter of Wagner's operas.
