Fictionalization of the “Kalmyk” ethnographical discourse in the Russian philology of the second half of the XVIIIth century - the first decade of the XIXth century

The article deals with revealing the fictional potential of the ethnographical materials, devoted to the cultural and historical issues of the Kalmyk ethnos (the studies of J. Georg, I.I. Lepekhin, N.A. Nefedyeva, A.M. Pavlova, N.I Strahova, etc.). In the research description there are revealed such traits as visualization, the elements of storytelling, the dramatization of narration, the existence of the author’s subjectivity, the figurative and stylistic expressiveness, etc., allowing to consider the fictionalization of the scientific discourse of the fundamental principle of the full weight Kalmyk text in the Russian philology of the XIXth century.
