The article describes the characteristics of one of the toxic contaminants of automotive exhaust gases. Experimentally studied contamination of benzo(a)pyrene soil adjacent to highways cities. A significant increase in the concentration of benzo(a)pyrene near intersections with a high density of traffic flows.
