Personal safety and criminal liability for murder in Russian and Hungarian legislation

The author compares the criminal legislation of Russia and Serbia, examining various specialized issues related to homicide, with a focus on matters of personal security. The aim of the work is to identify features of statistical accounting, as well as to compare approaches to establishing types and limits of punishment and accounting for mitigating and aggravating circumstances. Particular attention is paid to the consideration of qualified types of homicide characterized by increased public danger. The author proposes recognizing the commission of homicide by a particularly dangerous repeat offender or drug addict as an aggravating circumstance of murder. The author provides recommendations for the statistical accounting of homicides in our country.
