Unemployment in Russia in the conditions of the crisis state of the national economy

The article analyzes the state of the labor market in Russia for 2019-2023: the main macroeconomic indicators of the labor market are considered in dynamics; the unemployment rate is calculated by year; the factors influencing the change in the unemployment rate are determined; the features of Russian unemployment are revealed. The role of the state in providing employment and restoring sustainable economic growth in the conditions of the crisis state of the national economy is determined. It is concluded that an important condition for reducing the unemployment rate in Russia is the use of adaptive macroeconomic policy tools aimed at creating new jobs, and in order to maintain the country's GDP growth, a systematic approach is needed that combines legislative, administrative and economic methods of combating unemployment.
