Bibliographical reference as a subject of study in the publishing department of a higher school

The article covers questions of the future editors’ training in a higher school, in particular, teaching of such a complex type of editing as work with bibliographical text (bibliographical reference), when the training also includes improvement of the typography skills. The research is carried out in the framework of the State Standard requirements for publishing. The author considers the main aspects of the subject and gives tasks for learning and testing.
