Biochemical and immunological markers of renal dysfunction at hypothyroidism (review)

Бесплатный доступ

This review presents the modern data concerning the influence of hypothyroidism on functional state of kidneys. The renal dysfunction in decompensation of hypothyroidism without concomitant kidney disturbances was characterized by the decreased natrium reabsorption in proximal tubules and uric acid excretion, increased intraglomerular pressure and ƒ2-microglobuline concentration. Some studies reveal that conditions for increase of cytokine production are created; it also helps to expect the possible role of inflammation in renal dysfunction formation at hypothyroidism.
