In experiments in vitro, we established a high adsorption activity of finely dispersed diatomaceous earth with respect to the T-2 toxin. Effects of highly dispersed diatomaceous earth in rations of lactating cows contaminated with T-2 toxin at a dose of 5 mg / ng / day were carried out. Dispersion of the sorbent was 1-6 microns, the specific surface was 1774 m2 / g. Decrease in daily milk yield was 0.85 kg. The obtained results testify to the expressed negative effect of T-2 toxin on the functional state of the liver of cows. It was found that the introduction of a sorbent in an amount of 1% of the dry matter of the diet provides protection of the organism and helps maintain the level of dairy productivity of animals - a decrease in daily milk yield was only 0.05 kg.
