The article reviews foreign materials devoted to the research of the prospects for the use of biological preparations of microbial nature for the formation of consumer properties of plant raw materials, for example, wheat grains. Biopreparations are effective in small amounts and rapidly decompose, which avoids the problem of environmental pollution. The analysis made it possible to conclude that research into the development of grain quality formation using biological microbial preparations is relevant and promising.
