Biomechanical computer modeling of osteosynthesis techniques
Free access
The aspects of biomechanical computer modeling of osteosynthesis constructions are discussed for treatment of clavicle fractures: epiosseous plate, wire and half-pin devices. The results obtained demonstrate that a half-pin device ensures satisfactory fixation stiffness of bone fragments for minimal bone damage.
