Buddhist teachers of Russia: Buryat educator Choidag Badmazhapov and his heritage

The article is devoted to Buryat scholar Choidag Badmazhapov, the compiler of the famous Tibetan-Tibetan dictionary, whose name is widely known in Tibet and China, but only recently began to gain fame in his homeland thanks to the efforts of Buryat regional historians. The author not only analyzes the biography and systematizes fragmented information about his extensive scientific legacy, but also outlines promising trajectories for further research.
