The article examines the effectiveness of using Buryat games in the ethnopedagogical education of preschool children. In the context of a linguistic and cultural crisis associated with a decline in the number of native speakers of the traditional language, game-based learning has become particularly important. The article analyzes the characteristics of traditional game folklore and its spiritual and education significance. The authors emphasize the importance of integrating national games into the educational process to preserve cultural heritage among the younger generation. The article presents theoretical framework, methods, and examples of using Buryat games in preschool educational institutions and highlights their effectiveness as a tool of ethnopedagogical education. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of folk games in the educational and developmental process of preschool educational institutions.
