Being a black British woman: constructing identity in nowadays Britain in the context of black feminism

This research is focused on tools and practice which form the identity of black women community in Britain. Black British women tend to cooperate on common ground though individual and common initiatives using different formats of events where they research their identity and reflex about its components. Belonging to ethnic minorities and experience of previous generations play a key role in the selfidentity issues. Women focus on the uniqueness of the British variant of the black feminism, whose basis is intersectional approach. They emphasize the idea of importance of achievements of the movement of the Black British women and its influence on their position in the modern society.
