The paper discusses the phenomenological concepts of the Other and the Alien through the prism of the art of dance. The role of the concept of the body is noted not only in choreographic art, but also in modern French phenomenology presented in the works of Maurice Merlot-Ponti and Marc Reshire. A phenomenological analysis of the interaction of the choreographer and dancer was carried out, during which the essential role of intersubjectivity was revealed not only as the interaction of subjects generalized by one goal, but also as a generalized and interpenetrating field of experience, on the basis of which a new type of experience is developed, with which it is possible to create new dance. Also fantasy plays a significant role in creating a dance, and as a result, in creating new meanings. Fantasy appears here as a certain field of opportunity, which expands the horizons of consciousness and makes person’s way of life invariant.
