Worthwhileness of didactic instruments for academic industry-related knowledge co-management in the "industry - industry-oriented university" system

The significance of the issue within the Knowledge economy and the Digital economy is argued. The nature of academic industry-related knowledge as a specific type of knowledge relating to the intellectual scope of an industry is revealed. A mechanism of knowledge co-management by an industry (an employer) and an industry workforce supplier (an educational institution) through the academic industry-related knowledge life-cycle stages is unraveled. Didactic worthwhileness as an indicator to take a decision about the development of academic industry-related knowledge co-management system is suggested. The results of an experiment in Siberian Transport University including questionnaires among transport industry experts, professors and students are given.
