Integral worldview and religious experience: the linguistic aspect of Pavel Florensky’s philosophy

The article discusses the role of language in the making of Pavel Florensky’s religious and philosophical concept of an integral worldview. The author focuses on Florensky’s interpretation of religious experience as a result of symbolic perception of the world enabled by language. The article is aimed at systematizing Florensky’s ideas on language as an existential foundation of human spiritual experience. The author critically examines approaches to defining Florensky’s philosophical contributions and concludes that the significance of the linguistic concept in developing the idea of an integral worldview has been expanded.
