The article presents the results of studies of cement based foam concrete with glyoxal modifying additive, which is introduced into the mixture by various technological methods, depending on the required technological and technical characteristics of the mixture and building products. The article states the following data for foam concrete with average density grade D500: the introduction of a 40 % solution of glyoxal in the process of preparing the foam concrete mixture increases the flow of the mixture by 27,3 %, the compressive strength - by 14. The introduction of crystalline glyoxal in the process of preparing the mixture decreases shrinkage by 41,7 %, increases compressive strength by 19%. Pre-treatment of sand with a 40% solution of glyoxal increases flow of the mixture by 30,9 % and compressive strength by 82%. Joint grinding of sand with crystalline glyoxal in an amount of 0,01 % by weight of cement reduces shrinkage is by 54,7% and increases the compressive strength of foam concrete by 114 %. The developed composition and production technology of foam concrete with glyoxal additives are recommended for the production of wall products in the factory, as well as in monolithic and precast-monolithic construction of buildings.
