The article considers pedagogical heritage of D.N. Uznadze, S.N. Durylin, A.S. Makarenko. It attracts the interest of modern educational theorists and practitioners, as it exposes weak points of education and training, breaks the usual stereotypes of a child’s perception and the ways of work with him, and forces to think about alternative ways of solving the urgent educational problems.
