Values of student youth in the context of national security

The relevance of the study is determined by the danger of a demographic catastrophe, the absence of a single ideological doctrine, which leads to the need to solve the problems of national security. The empirical basis of the analysis was the results of a study on the processes taking place in Russia and the world in order to determine the vital interests, values and attitudes of students in modern conditions (n = 465). The object of the study was the value attitudes among young people. The purpose of the study was to identify problem areas in the formation of value orientations of student youth for their further correction. To process the obtained data, quantitative methods were used that made it possible to give a value characteristic of modern youth, determine the role of value orientations in the modern world, show the influence of values on national security, determine the advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of value attitudes at the state level, identify the main problem areas in the attitude of students to family, children, work, security, justice.
