The article considers the problem of forecasting the convicts’ behavior after expiration of the terms of being in conditions of longstanding social deprivation. The authors examine personal values of convicts in connection with ethnic and cultural affiliation, study contradictions and conflicts of values and their reciprocal influence at different levels.
