Value orientations of the protected person as a reflection of the individual’s living space

The moral and ideological components of a person’s life principles are components of value orientations. The formation of value orientations is determined by a number of factors; in turn, value orientations influence the behavior of an individual and his social interaction. The projection of the social environment in which the individual is located on the formation of his value orientations, as well as their influence on the living space of the individual, is considered. The purpose of this article is to consider the value orientations of the protected person through the prism of their mutual influence and reflection in the social structure of the individual. The value orientations of the categories of protected persons have been studied, and the hypothesis put forward about the conditionality of an individual’s value values by his social status, which in turn is associated with the living space of the individual, has been assessed. It is concluded that there are differences in the characteristics of individuals depending on the social group, and that value orientations are a reflection of the living space of the individual. The results obtained have practical significance for the implementation of psychological security of protected persons, as well as for the formation of a universal program of psychocorrectional and psychoprophylactic measures for different social categories.
