Value Bases of the Meta-Resource of Life Success of Students and Teachers of Educational Organizations of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs

Introduction. The relevance of the study of value bases due to necessary actualization of traditional values in society, meaningful changes in the system of higher education and the importance of value orientation of law enforcement officers is substantiated. Materials and Methods. 169 students and 164 teachers of educational organizations of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in the study. The author's method «Life Success» was employed. The methods to process the empirical data included descriptive statistics, Wilcoxon test. The data were processed via the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 programme. Results and Discussion. An understanding of the role of value bases in building coordinates and directions of personal life success is given. Similarities and differences in the hierarchy of value bases of life success of teachers and students of educational organizations of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs within the experimental sample are revealed. Low importance of such values as information possession, meaning of life, spiritual growth and independence; values of an abstract successful person and real values do not have too big discrepancies. Differences are as follows: teachers demonstrate material-pragmatic orientation of values, students — egoistic. Conclusions. The tendencies of the value bases of the meta-resource of life success of students and teachers of educational organizations of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs are revealed, which makes it possible to predict, prevent and constructively resolve contradictions in the interaction of subjects of the educational process.
