The article actualizes the problem of the formation of the ethical worldview of the teacher, whose solution is seen by the authors in the context of solving the problem of constructing the content of the process of forming the ethical outlook of the teacher within the framework of professional development. The ways of overcoming the difficulty of such a design are presented, the essence of which is that if the teacher's development programs are developed on the basis of a competence approach, the content of the process of forming the ethical worldview of the teacher, the core of which forms the basic values as «values of values», cannot be constructed Only on the basis of the competence approach. The results of the search for the answer to the question «What approach should be used to design the content of the process of formation of the ethical worldview of the teacher?» Are presented. They allowed us to understand that the value approach to constructing the content of the process of forming the ethical outlook of the teacher in the process of raising the level of qualification dominates the competence approach. It shows the construction of the content of the process of formation of the teacher’s ethical outlook with the involvement of the value and competence approaches on the example of the program «Formation and diagnosis of moral values in educational and extracurricular activities in accordance with the requirements of FSES BGE». The planned results of training teachers in the form of «know» and «be able» in the course of forming ethical worldview of teachers in the process of raising skills.
