The value resource of language and ethno-cultural subjects (following the results of social studies in the Chechen Republic)

The article deals with the cognitive and communicative aspects of foreign language learning, discusses the level of interest and value motivation of a language choice. The author considers sociological indicators characterizing students' attitude to a foreign language and ethno-cultural disciplines in the education system. The paper reveals their role in the development of tolerance, ethnic, regional and Russian identity.
