Church in death of times: at sources of the Vyg utopia

The paper deals with the problems of the old-believers Spiritual culture. The attention is focused on literary monuments of Vyg in the 20-30s of the 18th century (basically book sermons of Vyg founder, writer and preacher Andrey Denisov) concerning mythological and symbolical concept of desert. The author considers apokaliptical motives which express old-believers understanding of destiny of church during «last times». The article has been written on the basis of yet not studied hand-written material.
