Man in the dialectic world: the village diet

The article deals with the analysis of the traditional rules of eating behavior of the country people in central Russia in the second half of the XXth century. There is emphasized the dependence of the food tradition by the nature and climate conditions of living, the specific character of business activities, the daily routine and the national and cultural points. There is revealed the specificity of the village diet consisting in the use of the local natural food, the permissive ways of the processing, the intended limitation of food consumption, the simplicity and the caring and respect attitude to food.
