Bioctyoconservants of the firstclass, the formulation of which is based on mono-(single) or bi- (two) endocellular cryoprotectorsare examined. Physical and chemical, biological,toxicological and pharmacological properties ofstrong endocrioconservants for blood cells andbone marrow are picked out. Some aspects oftheir mechanism of action on cells are lighted.The application of cryoprotectants in the practiceof low-temperature preservation of variousbiological objects is described.
