Numerical and experimental investigation of stress-strain states of salts under a complex stress

The paper presents results of numerical analysis of experiments on compression of potassium salt samples under a complex stress. The investigations were carried out for samples enclosed into a steel case and subjected to compression. The effect of the case on the physical and mechanical properties of the samples is estimated.
