What is biblical theology?

The article examines the features of biblical theology as a separate discipline. The main method of interpretation of a biblical text - a historical and grammatical one - is analyzed. It explains two interrelated terms that are important to biblical theology: the history of salvation (Heilsgeschichte) and progressive revelation. It is said about the relationship between Orthodox teaching and the constructions of biblical theology.
